The 6 O’clock Gin Pink Lady
Woo the special lady (or man) in your life with this cheeky little classic cocktail. Extra brownie points if you manage to get the hearts right first time!
The Pink Lady
This is a brilliant twist on the classic White Lady gin cocktail. The addition of Cider Brandy, and a couple of spoonfuls of Grenadine really does make a difference, and the egg white gives it a wonderfully light and fluffy texture. Treat your loved one to the gift of gin this Valentines day!
Ingredients
- 40 ml 6 O'clock Gin
- 20 ml Triple Sec (eg. Cointreau)
- 20 ml Cider Brandy / Calvados
- 20 ml Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Grenadine
- 1 Egg White
- 6 drops Peychauds Bitters
Instructions
-
Add all the ingredients (except the bitters) into a Boston shaker and fill with ice.
-
Shake vigorously to 'whisk' the egg white and to chill the drink.
-
Double strain into a chilled coupette glass and garnish with the drops of peychauds bitters.
-
Run a cocktail stick through the drops to make the heart shapes ❤︎.
Recipe Notes
You can grab a bottle of 6 O’clock Gin in the shop, and if you fancy getting even more fruity, pick up a bottle of Bramley and Gage Raspberry Liqueur and use it in place of the grenadine.
