Key Flavours: Juniper & Lime.
Background: Named after Colonel "Joe" Rickey, the Gin Rickey is a variation on what was originally a Bourbon based highball drink. It was created during a long hot summer in Washington D.C. at Shoemaker's bar by bartender George A. Williamson. The Colonel was known for making wagers with other politicians and was often seen celebrating his wins with a drink in hand.
