Damson Mule

Slowly matured using an abundance of damsons and our incredibly smooth 6 O’clock Gin, it’s no wonder our 6 O’clock Damson Gin was a Gold winner in the Taste of The West Awards and was awarded 3 stars in the Great Taste Awards in 2016.

Of course you can enjoy it neat but it makes an amazing cocktail. Try our Damson Mule, refreshing, fruity and with a bit of a kick.

Ingredients

50ml 6 O’clock Damson Gin
juice of half a lime
fiery ginger ale

Method

Pour your 6 O’clock Damson Gin over ice, squeeze in your lime, wedges and all, and finally top with fiery ginger ale. Tastes wonderful.

If you really want a really fiery challenge and added kick; try steeping red chillis in sugar syrup and adding a shot of that.

Classic Cocktails : The Martinez

The Martinez is often considered the father of the Martini though its true origins are somewhat mysterious. It appears that while the original recipe called for a sweet vermouth, the preference chance during the early part of the 20th Century to a drier style. Modern versions often call for Maraschino liqueur which works well as long as you go easy on the quantities.
