Distillery Tours Restarting
We are delighted to announce that after reviewing the Government’s current advice and conducting a thorough Covid-19 risk assessment of our premises, we are able to recommence our distillery tours.
After having to postpone so many bookings over the past few months, we are really excited to be able to show off our distillery in all its glory again – our still Kathleen has definitely missed the attention she usually gets from our visitors!
In order to comply with current regulations, we will be running two tour sessions every Saturday, one from at 1pm until 3pm and the other at 3:30pm until 5:30pm. Bookings now cost £50.00 and are for a pair of tickets, with a maximum of six pairs per session.
To help us achieve social distancing, each pair will be allocated to their own table and both attendees in a pair must be from the same household. If you would like to make a booking for a single guest or an odd numbered group, please call the office on 01454 418 046 and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Booking dates for July and August are now available on the distillery tours page on our website (www.6oclockgin.com/tours). More dates for tours later in the year will be added in due course, after we have had the opportunity to review the new tour layout and take into account any changes to Government guidance over the coming weeks.
In order to ensure the safety of our colleagues and our guests, our tour guides will be wearing visors and use amplification equipment for the duration of each tour. All guests will be required to complete a contact tracing document upon arrival which will be kept on file for three weeks following your visit. The team will also be conducting thorough clean downs before and after each session.
Beyond the measures outlined above, our tours remain very much unchanged – you will still get an unrivalled, access-all-areas pass to the inner workings of 6 O’clock Gin, from our humble beginnings on a fruit farm in Devon, to more modern projects and future plans as we grow and adapt with the ongoing gin renaissance. You’ll be shown some of the secrets and techniques that go into the production of 6 O’clock Gin and Bramley & Gage fruit liqueurs, with samples of some of our delectable products served along the journey.
If you have any questions regarding tours, feel free to give us a call in the office on 01454 418 046 or send an email to sales@6oclockgin.com, and we’ll be happy to help.
