Join us on a NEW ‘Gin Experience’ Session
When we’re not busy crafting our delicious range of whole fruit liqueurs, or distilling our wonderfully smooth 6 O’clock Gin, we love to welcome the public into our distillery to show them the sights, smells and flavours that we work so hard to create every day. Based in Thornbury for 10 years, and in business since 1988, it’s fair to say that we know a thing or two about craft spirits and liqueurs!
In order to give our guests the best possible experience we’ve recently had a refit in our distillery and we’re very proud with the results. The team packed their tool boxes and set to work creating a new bar space right in the heart of the distillery. We now have seating for up to 16 people, there’s a very high-tech projection system… and we even have a new loo! The shop is now twice the size and carries the full range of 6 O’clock Gin and Bramley & Gage products as well as our special branded ‘Copa’ glasses. Tom even managed to take these great photos in-between building a partition wall and plumbing in the new sink!
One of the pleasures of being a family owned and run company is that we’re very happy to share our passion, knowledge and secrets with the public. Our Distillery Tours have proved so popular over the past 12 months that to coincide with our refit, we’ve added extra dates as well as creating new ‘Gin Experience’ sessions on selected Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
The ‘Gin Experience’ is a chance for visitors from near and far to get unique insight into the wonderful world of 6 O’clock Gin as well as to see ‘Katheleen’ (our beautiful ‘double sphere’ copper still) for themselves. Our expert guides will run you though some of the company’s rich history, and explain to you some of the clever methods by which we ‘enGINeer’ our Strikingly Smooth gin.
With a large 6 O’clock Gin served on arrival (with a take away option for designated drivers), you can take a seat, refresh your palette and enjoy the stories and secrets behind your local premium gin producer.
